- Manage all the administration activities for the planning process
- Participate in the production and planning processes, ensuring all relevant departments are aware business/clients planned delivery dates
- Ensure information and accurate production plans are established and executed for all departments
- Liaise with internal sales staff and sales executives to estimate lead time based on delivery requirements and to ensure OTIF
- Experience working for a fast-paced manufacturing business is desirable, and excellent communication skills are essential
- Primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the production manager and supervisory team to ensure the timely completion of production orders
- Proficient in Microsoft, particularly Excel
- A passion for production planning and a positive attitude
- Analytical and creative thinking - the ability to filter relevant information through a clear, informed point of view
- Proactive - a self-starter who isn't waiting to be briefed
