WPP's Mark Read releases memo amidst Martin Sorrell allegations
Adweek reports that WPP's co-chief operating officer Mark Read sent out a memo to all WPP employees during allegations against the company's former CEO Martin Sorrell.
The memo does not directly address the specific claims against Sorrell, but does state that 'all WPP working environments must be places where people feel safe and supported'.
Read, along with co-chief operating officer Andrew Scott, will also implement a review of how WPP's policies and codes of conduct are put into practice. Read also encouraged employees to use a human resources helpline.
