Clear Channel looking for another empowerment partner
Barry Sayer, the Group Chief Executive of Clear Channel Independent (CCI), has disclosed that they are looking for an empowerment partner to take up a 30% stake in the company. Negotiations are underway and it is hoped that "something concrete" will be taken to the board by February 12. A month ago CCI partnered with Merafe-Zonkizizwe to form Clear Channel-Merafe, an indoor advertising company. Merafe-Zonkizizwe was given a 51% stake in the newly-formed indoor advertising company.
