LKDA is looking for an experienced senior client service and account manager to join the team on key existing and new TTL accounts.
It is expected that the candidate has sound knowledge and experience in strategic marketing principles to drive projects with clients and support agency teams.
Client service/account management: daily account responsibilities
- Key representative and liaison between agency and new + existing clients on senior level
- Meeting with clients to evaluate and identify requirements based on objectives/goals and strategy
- Ability to develop and prepare accurate, in depth briefs with expected outcomes based on identified objectives
- Alignment and planning with creative director and strategist on account requirements
- Full ownership (hands-on) and management of all client-related projects and briefs
- Clear understanding of requirements (job to be done) to manage next steps within agency teams and expectations from client
- Preparing and presenting cost estimates based on scope of project and deliverables (internally and to client)
- Manage and compile accurate and detailed weekly status reports for internal and external status meetings
- Manage clients’ budgets and monthly billings against agency/project output
- Explore and identify business opportunities for organic growth and cross-selling by the agency
- Development and planning of roll out plans, time frames and milestones based on project requirements
- Driving the process with continuous alignment with teams in traffic, creative, strategy and other departments to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
- Ensure that cost estimates are accurate, approved and billed timeously
- Preparing briefs to the production team (internal) + media partners (external)
- Presenting work and feedback to client and agency teams
- Manage and update project status for weekly reports and status meetings
- Manage artwork approval process, proof checking against brief, manage amendment process and secure sign-off
- Complete project recons and evaluation of cost estimates for final billing
- Minimum five years experience in advertising, design or branding agency
- Proven experience in account and project management with references
- Qualification in marketing, account management, branding/advertising from reputable institutions
- Full awareness of creative processes (to bring a project to life)
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpretation and writing skills
- Excellent skill and knowledge of PowerPoint/Keynote, Word and Excel
- Exceptional project management skills with attention to detail
