The global PocketMedia specialist has designed a Star Fold specifically for Markex, which will provide exhibition visitors with a Gautrain map and details of the train's routes. These are being distributed to advertising agencies before Markex to draw attention to the exhibition and encourage industry members to visit the company's stand inside the AdVantage Advertising Village and enter a competition to win an iPad 2.

It is using its unique Bottle Hang UFO as the competition entry form. "After submitting their entry, exhibition visitors can also scan the QR Code on the UFO and in doing so, stand to chance to win an iPad 2 at Markex in Cape Town," says John Davis, MD of the company.

"The company has also produced a social media Z-Card, in collaboration with digital communication specialists Melissa Attree and Mike Sharman, highlighting social media secrets for brands," he adds.

Award winning cups

Visstun launched the world's first hi-definition convolute cup in 2006 and won the 2010 WorldStar Packaging Award for its Coca-Cola and Carling Black Label cups. These hi-definition printed cups have been used for all types of promotions from the local pub to the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
