The Organising Committee (OC) of the 2010 FIFA World Cup is reminding media to learn about how to obtain media accreditation through the remaining workshops at various host cities this week.
Venues and times for remaining workshops this week are:
Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth: Tuesday, 20 Oct 2009, 11.30am - 1.30 pm, at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Port Elizabeth
Durban: Wednesday, 21 Oct 2009, 11.30am - 1.30 pm, at ICC Durban (International Convention Centre Durban), 45 Ordnance Road, Durban.
Cape Town: Thursday, 22 Oct 2009, 11.30am - 1.30 pm at The Crush Room, 5th Floor, Podium Block, Cape Town Civic Centre
Nelspruit: Friday, 23 Oct 2009, 11.30am - 1.30 pm at Nelspruit Civic Centre, Council Chambers, Nelspruit.
The purpose of these workshops is to have:
A face-to-face engagement with all South African media and the various, but relevant government communicators.
To inform and assist about the media accreditation process for the final draw for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in Cape Town (4 December ), FIFA Team Workshop (February 2010) and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
To inform and educate about the importance of having a FIFA Media Channel account
To inform on matters around non-rights holders.
