Mid-weight Designer

We need an efficient and Agile Creative Team Player, that is super talented - creating magic with a mouse, and understands that you can create a beautiful design with just typography. Responsible for developing marketing and communications across various mediums that will separate us from the crowd.

The ideal candidate will be able to capture the imagination of an audience using the power of design and will work well with the creative and strategic teams to conceptualise and execute effective campaigns, with a combination of attention to detail and unbridled creative thinking.

Requirements:

• Conceptual, creative, imaginative and passionate about your work
• Immaculate design with accuracy and excellent attention to detail
• Self-starter, a great team player, excellent work ethic and meets deadlines
• Have an interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised and meticulous
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and MS Office 365.
• Designing for a variety of mediums including, but not limited to, social media, print, outdoor, brochure / interactive PDFs / ePubs, television, web content, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Brainstorming and understanding human truths, consumer insights, ideas and concepts with other members of the creative team when necessary
• Understanding a client's brief and objectives to relay them through well-thought-out design
• Understanding the clients tone, strategy and CI in order to write according to different styles, mediums and tones, that match our client’s audiences
• Generating original ideas that grab the audience’s attention
• Know and understand our client’s products, target audiences and competitor activities in the market
• Ability to design various design options, which may be presented to the client
• Modifying design until the client is satisfied
• Accuracy is essential

*Candidates will be required to do a design test.
