Digital Marketing Intern

Job description

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team on a 12-month internship. This role is perfect for a recent marketing or related graduate with a flair for digital marketing, design, and content creation.  What you’ll be involved in:

• Managing the admin for our online shop platforms (TAL, MHB Online, Superbalist, Amazon) - product uploads, updates, discontinuations, stock checks, gathering imagery, etc.
• Social media scheduling and captioning
• Assisting with our content bank
• Copy and content writing for websites, ads, and graphics
• Resizing images and updating PDFs (Canva/Adobe skills needed)
• Community management across social media pages (replying to comments/messages, sharing IG stories, engaging on posts)
• Supporting influencer marketing: sourcing and vetting influencers, coordinating and tracking deliveries, assisting with creating influencer product drops
• Collecting and tracking digital performance data (analytics, influencer content and performance reports)
• Handling sponsorship/promo requests and product invoicing

Start date: 1 February 2026, or as soon as possible (fixed term contract – 12 months)

Location: At our head office and warehouse in Epping, Cape Town (on site)

What we’re looking for:

• A relevant marketing or related qualification is required
• Skills in graphic design, digital marketing, paid media, and social media content (Canva/Adobe experience)
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail
• Organised, proactive, and a team player with a passion for beauty and digital trends
• High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• A valid code 8 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, must be based in Cape Town
