Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (preferred)
- 6+ years’ proven experience in back-end software development, project delivery, and implementation
- Strong Python skills (primary language); Java experience beneficial
- Solid experience with AWS services (RDS, EC2, Lambda; Odin and EKS clusters advantageous)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, regulation-driven environments
- Experience in anti-money laundering, financial crime, or regulatory compliance projects (advantageous)
- Willingness to learn and upskill — especially in Python if coming from a Java background
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- Familiarity with monitoring, error logging, and dashboarding tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Cloud experience on platforms beyond AWS will also be considered if adaptable
