Location: Cape Town with a project in Mauritius.
We are looking for a talented and innovative interior designer based in Cape Town to join our team and work on exciting commercial and residential projects for international brands, including high-profile projects in Mauritius. This role involves designing deco packs, kitchen and joinery layouts, and managing local and global sourcing, with a strong focus on project management and budget control.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute deco pack designs, kitchen layouts, and overall interior concepts for commercial and residential spaces.
- Source materials and furnishings locally and globally, ensuring the highest quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations, ensuring all aspects of design are delivered within scope.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Provide creative and on-trend design solutions.
- Strong Excel skills for budget management, project planning, and documentation.
- Degree in interior design or related field.
- Proven experience in commercial and residential interior design.
- Expertise in deco pack and kitchen design.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Canva, and others – these are non-negotiable.
- Strong understanding of design trends and attention to detail.
