Junior - Mid-Weight Graphic Designer

We’re a friendly remote agency with our registered office based in Tygervalley in Cape Town, and we're on the hunt for an eagle-eyed graphic designer. The position is mainly remote, with 5 days per month based in our co-working space in Tygervalley. About the role:

This role will suit someone who is very detail-oriented and can handle a lot of moving tasks at once with fast turnaround times. You will support our art director and senior graphic designer with our clients' day-to-day design needs, including designing website banners, mailer headers, adverts, infographics and social media posts in a financial/corporate design style. Larger projects (depending on your experience level) will include the layout and preparation of financial reports, PowerPoint presentations, motion graphic videos (design component only) and exhibition design.

Our clients are lovely, and our work environment is a happy and mutually respectful one, but we move quickly and work to a very high standard, so you will be expected to keep up and keep a cool head under pressure.

Education and software skills:

• 1 – 4 years of graphic design experience in a corporate or agency environment 
• Min three-year degree/diploma in graphic design
• High competence in the Adobe Suite: Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop experience (all three a must)
• Comfortable in MS Suite, including PPT and Word (we convert a lot of our design work into editable PPT’s and you will need to learn how to do this)
• Advantageous: Adobe XD & After Effects
