TSIBA Education announces new CEO
TSIBA Business School, registered as TSIBA Education NPC, has announced the appointment of Dr Riedwaan (Rudi) Kimmie as its new chief executive officer. He replaces the current interim CEO Professor Kobus Visser and will assume the role on 1 May 2020.
Dr Kimmie brings in a wealth of knowledge in teaching and academic development after working for more than 20 years at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He was most recently the academic dean for TSIBA Business School and also serves on the boards of Durban Green Corridors, Iqraa Trust, Education Solutions and Datachem. He holds a PhD in leadership studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
"It is with honour and humility that I accept the trust placed in me to lead TSIBA Business School during these uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm confident that with the passion and dedication of the TSIBA staff, the legacy of my predecessor, professor Visser, and the continued commitment from all our supporters, financial and in-kind, TSIBA will continue on its mission of contributing to social and economic advancement," Kimmie said.
