Media24 appoints new print division general manager
Media24 has appointed Ishmet Davidson as its consolidated print media division's general manager. Davidson has been working as the news division's general manager, since 2014, and On the Dot Media logistics' distribution division's acting head, since the start of the year. He began his employment at the company in 2012 as the head of local news and later moved on to Die Burger and Son.
Media24 also promoted Rika Swart to general manager of On the Dot Media Logistics. Swart had been working as the OtD media sales and logistics general manager since 2014. She joined the company in 2005 at its educational publishing business and later moved to OtD as a key account manager.
Barrie de Beer is to retain his role as the acting general manager of the news division.
