New station manager for 702
Following a ten-year stint at the helm of Gauteng talk station Pheladi Gwangwa, has resigned and will leave the station at the end of May 2016, to be replaced by Thabisile Mbete, currently Primedia Broadcasting's group content editor. Listenership has grown from just over 200,000 to 979,000 during Gwangwa's leadership, according to the latest RAMS figures. Mbete was previously an executive producer for the John Robbie show.
