The opening of the Rebel Food within Kit Kat’s Benoni store, which has been trading since late November 2018, now allows consumers to shop for a comprehensive range of fresh produce together with the range of items already on the floor. The offerings include a butchery, a bakery and a florist.
According to the Kit Kat Group, this is the first store of its kind and is fully Halaal accredited with the National Independent Halaal Trust (NIHT).
Martin Rebelo, director of Rebel Foods, guarantees that all facilities and products are strictly regulated by Halaal control measures. “We cater for all householders and traders looking for a wide range of well-priced quality products,” he says.
