David Grossniklaus to lead Belmond's development in the UAE

Belmond has appointed David Grossniklaus as its senior director of development in the Middle East, Africa and India. Grossniklaus will be stationed at Belmond's development in the United Arab Emirates and will be focusing on increasing the company's presence in the region.

Grossniklaus started his career in the hospitality sector when he worked as an intern at Belmond while studying at Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in 2002. He has since gained 16 years of experience and has worked at several companies including Deloitte/STR Global, Fairmont-Raffles Hotels International, Nakheel Hotels/Istithmar and most recently, Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
