Standard Bank makes two new appointments

Standard Bank has named Leon Vermaak as its group head of short-term insurance. Vermaak will be reporting to Margaret Nienaber. The company also appointed Nolwandle Mgoqi-Mbalo as its head of insurance for Standard Bank Insurance.

Vermaak was previously CEO of Santam, Sanlam, and Telesure. Mgoqi-Mbaloover has over 15 years' experience in short-term insurance and asset management.
