The Africa Mercy, a hospital ship operated by Mercy Ships International, has selected the Port of East London as its location for three months. During this time, the ship will undergo minor maintenance, facilitate crew changes and recruit medical practitioners in readiness for its upcoming medical field service in Madagascar. Mercy Ships International, a non-profit organisation, extends its services globally to provide free healthcare to individuals in dire need.
