KLM receives first Embraer 195-E2 aircraft
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced a new modern and sustainable addition to its fleet as the first Embraer 195-E2 from Brazil landed at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol last week. The 195-E2 is both quieter and more economical than its predecessor, the Embraer 190.
The fleet renewal is part of KLM's approach towards making its operations more sustainable, with seven more new aircraft of this type expected to join the KLM Cityhopper fleet this year. KLM has ordered a total of 25 Embraer 195-E2 aircrafts.
