Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics are those encountered in a typical office with IT administration and Support environment. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAll duties take place in accordance with the requirements of the client, Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant legislation. Duties include the following: - Learn to organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
- Learn security and privacy compliance of networks and computer systems.
- Learn to install and configure appropriate hardware, software, and functions according to specifications and company standards.
- Learn to set-up, configure and maintain computer, user and e-mail accounts on all systems
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate software and computer equipment.
- Learn to Manage and revise the layout of SharePoint, as well as the customization on SharePoint site for company purposes.
- Learn the monitoring, troubleshooting and provide technical support for SharePoint users.
- Learn to maintain records of SharePoint updates, maintenance, and activity.
- Ensuring distribution of operating system, company standard applications, and antivirus updates.
- Maintain and monitor communication infrastructure to remote sites.
- General end user hardware and software support that includes troubleshooting and successful resolution of incidents and problems.
- Understand service desk ticketing, successful resolution of assigned incidents and problem tickets, and meeting SLAs.
