AI Intern

Job description

The intern will work across multiple departments to help implement, monitor, and support the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and strategies. 

Key responsibilities

AI adoption and integration

• Assist with the implementation and integration of AI tools within business units.
• Participate in pilot projects, monitor performance, and document integration outcomes.
• Support cross-functional teams with AI onboarding and feedback collection.

Strategy and research

• Contribute to the development of the long-term AI roadmap.
• Conduct market research on emerging AI technologies and trends relevant to business functions.
• Assist in evaluating AI tools to ensure alignment with business goals.

Governance, ethics and compliance

• Help monitor ethical use of AI and adherence to data protection and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with documenting internal AI governance policies and standards.

Training and internal engagement

• Collaborate with AI trainers and internal communications to support awareness campaigns.
• Assist in creating digital content for AI education (e.g., guides, tutorials, FAQs).
• Participate in and support workshops, training sessions, and Q&A forums.

Vendor and tool management

• Help manage a digital database of AI tools and vendors used by the group.
• Participate in vendor research, demo sessions, and feedback collection.

Technical support and content development

• Collaborate with UX/UI and content teams to design and develop interactive digital learning modules.
• Assist with the organisation and optimisation of digital training materials and AI datasets.
• Support the development of AI-integrated applications and internal platforms.
• Participate in content creation (e.g. videos, e-learning modules) for internal training.

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning principles.
• Strong interest in digital transformation and AI implementation in business contexts.
• Proficient in MS Office; exposure to digital design or AI-related tools a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or another programming language.
• Exposure to AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Google Cloud AI tools.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
• Experience in content management systems or e-learning platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-driven with a passion for learning.
