The festival will be a decadent culinary celebration of the best in South Africa's chocolate industry: think gourmet bonbons, chocolate bars, chocolate-smothered honey nougat and truffles.
Along with premium wines, freshly brewed coffees and tasty bistro food, the festival allows you to experience chocolate in innovative and exciting ways, all while gaining knowledge about its history and production processes. Highlights to look out for at the festival include the Chocolate Theatre, which will play host to a series of inspirational demos from master chocolatiers.
A chocolate-inspired Fashion Show will take place at 11am on both days; an Art Exhibition will display illustrations on the topic of the The Chocolate Wrapper, while Flash Mobs will add music when you least expect it. Artistic chocolate sculptures, competitions and a Chocolate Lounge offering tapas, cocktails and a glass of wine or MCC throughout the day and live music and cabaret in the late afternoon. You'll even be able to be framed in chocolate Dear Ruth ,when you have your special Freys photograph taken at the show.
