Sixteen of the station's on-air personalities will be there for a weekend of helping to build homes with the station's CSI initiative Youngblood5 and Habitat for Humanity South Africa. Plus, there will be a series of parties and live broadcasts of some of the station's biggest shows.
The Pick 'n Pay Cape Argus Cycle Tour has an official 5FM team of 30 riders (7 DJS and 23 listeners who applied via an on-air competition to join the team) participating. The station is supporting three of the official Argus charities, Afrika Tikkun, The Amy Biehl Foundation and Boland School for Autism, with on-air mentions as well as interviews on Youngblood5 (Wednesdays 11am on Kim's Corner) highlighting each cause.
