Pierce: Cape Town. Good Hope FM. I like to play when I travel.
Pierce: I got fired on 1 April 2002 for “assassinating” Robert Mugabe as part of an on air April Fool’s joke.
Pierce: Littered with mistakes.
Pierce: I love luxury travel, I love food and wine.
Pierce: I love bringing in the unpredictability/spontaneity aspect. It scares management!
Pierce: Stop the cannibalisation of records. It’s bloody boring. More rock and indie on air.
Pierce: Work, prepare for hours, meetings, phone calls, playing with my dolls, gym, knitting, making biscuits, joining any protest action, integrating racists back into society, listening to Steve Hofmeyr records, blow-drying my hair, watching Suzelle, watching reruns of Heidi and Emmanuelle, ironing, waxing my legs and watching Chester Missing’s lips.
Pierce: Voice, hands, ears, genitals.
Pierce: Gerard Muller, Good Hope FM’s programme manager and Brendan Ficks, Good Hope FM’s station manager.
Pierce: An app.
Pierce: Dashboard, growth jacking (any form jacking should be banned), news jacking, synergy, clickability, have you got an app?
Pierce: The best place to steal ideas is at dinner parties. Friends talk about their lives and boom!
Pierce: I tend to show my underpants to the dog and cat after a few drinks.
Pierce: Selfies and a picture of Penny Sparrow on Durban’s beach during December.
Pierce: Don’t do crack.
