We are looking for a dynamic advertising salesperson, with proven experience, to sell advertising space in our online publication. This is an office-based post in Centurion, Gauteng. 

This person needs to be a “hunter”, someone who thrives on the challenge of finding and securing new clients and uncovering new business opportunities.

Advantageous:

• Proven track record in sales
• Media sales experience
• Experience in business-to-business advertising sales
• Experience using a CRM
• Digitally savvy
• Experience dealing with agencies
• Knowledge of programmatic advertising

Requirements

• Must be self-driven and able to meet targets and strict deadlines.
• At least two to five years' experience in the sale of advertising space in the online environment.
• Excellent proficiency in English is a must.
• Excellent phone manners and cold-calling skills.
• Good presentation skills.
• Team player.
• Must be computer literate. Good Excel skills required.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Knowledge of IT and/or the IT media industry will be advantageous.
• No freelancers or remote working.
