Business Development Coordinator

Background

Bosun is a leading manufacturer of infrastructural concrete products. We work closely with professionals like architects and engineers to ensure the correct products are specified for the right applications.

The purpose of this position

This mid-level, office-based position will engage with key role players in planning stages of construction. 

This position will:

• Understand the market we serve and the value of our offering.
• Identify viable projects to pursue.
• Be the first line point of contact for enquiries by professionals like architects and engineers.
• Engage with these enquiries in an efficient and professional manner.
• Establish if enquiries requires a visit by a company representative.
• Extensive use of the company CRM system to keep track of projects and enquiries.

In simple language, this position needs to be a "detective" with a strong desire to understand projects, link them to the right people and establish the real needs. 

Reports to: Business Development Manager.

Qualifications and experience

• The ideal candidate would have a marketing qualification.
• Experience in the use of a CRM system.
• Experience in a professional sales or marketing environment.
• Proficient in MS Office.

• Strong organisational skills.
• Self-motivator, who can work under pressure and think on their feet in a flat management structure.
• Emotionally mature.
