Intermediate Front end Developer

A market-leading digital business operating at scale within the online betting and gaming space is expanding its technology team. The company delivers fast, engaging, and reliable digital platforms used by thousands of users every day and continues to invest heavily in modern tools, technologies, and engineering best practices.

They are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to help build visually engaging, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces. Working closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams, you’ll play a key role in creating intuitive user experiences for a high-traffic, real-time digital environment.

What you’ll do

• Develop modern front-end applications using React or Angular
• Build responsive, user-focused interfaces with strong attention to performance and usability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into polished UI solutions
• Ensure consistency with design standards and best practices across platforms

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ front-end development experience
• Strong expertise in React or Angular
• Solid understanding of UI/UX and design principles
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Understanding of server-side CSS concepts
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design techniques
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator 

Reference Number for this position is PM60968 which is a permanent position based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company salary of up to R660k per annum depending on experience and ability.
