We are looking for an exceptional video editor.
Seen TV is a decolonial media company telling the stories mainstream media ignores. We specialise in raw, mobile-first storytelling. This is NOT tv.
This role is for someone with a distinct style and serious narrative instincts.
What You’ll Do
- Edit short-form and long-form videos that are built to be watched all the way through.
- Shape narrative. Pacing. Suspense. Emotional arcs. Comedic timing too!
- Collaborate closely with producers and creatives to push ideas further.
- Know when to cut hard and when to let a moment breathe.
- What You Should Be Good At
- You are a narrative editor first.
- You have a unique style. Not templates. Taste.
- You understand retention, pacing, and why people stay.
- You do not rely on flashy effects to hide weak storytelling.
- You have work that has reached at least 1M views online
What This Is Not
This is not a sizzle-reel job.
This is not a flashy montage role.
This is not about 8K cinematic footage.
