Experienced senior graphic designer for cape town design studio

This is a full-time, on-site senior position in Diep River, Cape Town.

INK DESIGN is a renowned design studio with 28 years of experience delivering high-quality design solutions to a diverse and loyal client base in the publishing sector. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior graphic designer to join our team of ten designers.

Role overview:

We are seeking a Senior designer with strong conceptual skills and a passion for publishing design. You will produce innovative, visually compelling designs across a wide range of print and digital publishing projects. You will work closely with our creative and production teams to deliver polished, accurate, and beautifully executed work. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally and clearly with clients and stakeholders is a requirement in this senior role.


What we are looking for:

• A highly creative and versatile graphic designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating innovative visual solutions in publishing. 
• Expertise in publishing design and typography, with a thorough understanding of the production process for print and digital publishing.
• Strong ability to distill complex information and data into clear, engaging graphics.
• Professional communication skills.

Qualifications and experience

• A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years’ graphic-design experience, with proof of having held a senior or lead-level role within a professional team.

• Portfolio showcasing strong conceptual design experience in publishing.
