Are you a highly driven B2B Sales Executive ready to make a significant income by selling Africa's most relevant and fastest-growing technology event?

The role: Sales executive (sponsorship and expo)
You will be responsible for strategically sourcing and closing high-value sponsorship and exhibition packages for the Africa Tech week conference and awards, ensuring Africa's leading technology brands are positioned at the centre of the continental tech conversation.

Your focus areas will include:
  • Sponsorship sales: Pitching and closing complex, six-figure sponsorship deals to C-level executives (CEO, CTO, CMO) at top tech companies.
  • Exhibition/expo sales: Selling prime floor space and bespoke activation packages, leveraging our consistent year-on-year sell-out success.
  • Relationship management: Cultivating long-term relationships with key industry players and leveraging the prestige of our seven-year track record.

  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of proven B2B sales experience, with a track record in sponsorship, exhibition, media, or complex solution selling.
  • Attitude: A true sales 'hustler' who is disciplined, self-motivated, and thrives in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
  • Knowledge: Genuine passion for the technology landscape, digital transformation, and the African economy.
  • Skills: Exceptional cold-calling, presentation, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in using a CRM system (e.g. Hubspot) to manage a large pipeline.
