Job descriptionKey roles and responsibilities:
• Perform the role and responsibilities of the module coordinator (MC). • Compile teaching, learning, and assessment materials. • Use a learning management system independently and/or work collaboratively to develop and deliver modules. • Participate in relevant programme, curriculum, and material development. • Carry out allocated internal moderation responsibilities. • Carry out invigilation of venue-based assessments as reasonably required by the Registrar’s Office. • Participate in school-based teaching practice assessments. • Provide academic support to students. • Complete all quality assurance requirements related to the modules and programmes. • Participate in research and community engagement projects. • Ensure prompt and effective communication with students, colleagues, line managers, and other members of management. • Ensure administrative efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with all policies and SOPs. • Participate in and attend meetings and workshops. • Fulfil functions on relevant committees, and in meetings and workshops as reasonably requested by management. • Fulfil all reasonably expected administrative functions relating to the position and as requested by the relevant line manager. Minimum requirements • At least 3 years of teaching and /or lecturing experience in the relevant phase/disciplines. • Must be in possession of a relevant teaching qualification. • Knowledge and understanding of the subject matter as well as work-based learning (teaching practice). • Experience in curriculum and materials development. • Experience in online teaching and learning environments will be an advantage Qualifications and experience: • Minimum bachelor of education honours or equivalent qualification with relevant study in mathematics, coding and robotics and EMS) Key attributes: • Sound teaching and assessment skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organisation, administration, time management, and coordination skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines. • High level of computer proficiency with good knowledge of modern Information Technology infrastructure and online learning platforms. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to cope with change. • Willingness to work when required on Saturdays. • Customer service orientation Posted on 18 Sep 16:15, Closing date 30 Sep Or apply with your Biz CVCreate your CV once, and thereafter you can apply to this ad and future job ads easily.
