The campaign manager is responsible for delivering seamless, high-impact campaigns with managed creators, recruiting and reporting on creator-led programs (including creative voice), and compiling performance insights for clients and internal teams. This role blends campaign execution, creator management, reporting, and proactive campaign pitching. You will own the end-to-end influencer campaign process, support SEM’s YouTube programs, and ensure our managed creators are engaged, growing, and aligned to SEM’s strategic vision. The creator manager lead's mandateThe campaign manager is: - Campaign owner: Delivering influencer campaigns on time, on budget, and with measurable results.
- Creator liaison: Managing SEM’s managed creators, ensuring smooth onboarding, engagement, and deliverable completion.
- YouTube and program manager: Recruiting new creators into SEM’s YouTube offering and creative voice program, and reporting on their performance.
- Proactive strategist: Developing new campaign ideas, staying ahead of trends, and pitching influencer concepts that grow SEM’s impact.
- Insight generator: Producing reports that show ROI, share learnings, and guide continuous improvement.
Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns- Lead campaign execution for managed creators and incoming influencer campaigns, from briefing to final reporting.
- Track creator submissions, approvals, and timelines to ensure 100% deliverable compliance.
- Maintain campaign trackers and provide regular updates to internal teams and clients.
Recruitment and program growth- Recruit creators for SEM’s managed creator roster, YouTube service offering, and creative voice program.
- Use a mix of outreach, referrals, and trendspotting to source high-quality creators.
- Collaborate with creator partner manager to ensure program recruitment meets quarterly targets.
Campaign and program reporting- Compile detailed, insight-driven reports for influencer campaigns, creative voice program, and YouTube offering.
- Track creator participation, performance, and output, flagging any risks early.
- Share insights internally and with clients, including recommendations for optimising future campaigns.
Creator relationship management- Act as the day-to-day contact for managed creators, ensuring they feel supported and engaged.
- Conduct regular check-ins and provide feedback to creators on content quality and performance.
- Collaborate with creator partner manager to maintain a positive, creator-first experience.
Proactive campaign ideation and pitching- Monitor cultural trends, creator movements, and industry shifts to inform new campaign ideas.
- Develop proactive influencer campaign pitches and present them internally and to client.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure concepts align with SEM’s strategy and client objectives.
Trend tracking and cultural fluency- Stay up to date on changes to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Share relevant insights and opportunities with the team (e.g. in Slack or monthly reviews).
Main outputs and responsibilities- Deliver campaigns and program activations on time, hitting agreed KPIs.
- Grow creator rosters for managed creators, YouTube offering, and Creative Voice program.
- Produce accurate, insight-driven reports that showcase campaign ROI and creator impact.
- Pitch creative influencer campaign concepts that win client buy-in and generate additional revenue.
- Keep SEM informed of industry trends and creator ecosystem changes.
Education and experience- 3–5 years’ experience in influencer marketing, campaign management, talent partnerships, or program management.
- Experience in managing multiple influencer campaigns end-to-end with measurable results.
- Strong reporting experience — including data analysis and insight generation
- Agency experience preferred, ideally with exposure to YouTube or video content campaigns.
Skills and knowledge- Deep understanding of influencer marketing workflow — creator vetting, briefing, contracting, approvals, and reporting.
- Familiarity with YouTube analytics and creator program performance tracking
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including deck writing and reporting.
- Proficiency with campaign tracking tools, CRM systems, and basic data analysis.
