To sell print and digital advertising space by identifying client needs and offering tailored media solutions.  This role supports the company's revenue growth and market presence by building long-term client relationships and consistently achieving sales target.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Generation:  Identify, approach and convert new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.  Develop tailored media proposals based on client objectives.  Negotiate and finalize advertising contracts in line with pricing policies.  Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.  

Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients.  Maintain strong relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.  Provide ongoing client support, including performance updates and renewal discussions. Monitor the performance of digital campaigns and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Sales Administration:
Log all sales activities, customer details, and deal status updates on the call sheets.  Prepare and submit quotes, proposals, booking forms and supporting documents.  Ensure all advertising materials and approvals are received by internal deadlines. Submit weekly sales pipeline reports and forecast.

Market and Product Knowledge:
Stay up to date on industry trends and digital advertising innovations.  Maintain deep knowledge of all advertising formats, audience, segments and publication cycles.  Educate clients on media solutions, including sponsored content, native advertising and targeting options.

Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with production, support staff, and finance to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.  Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions for product development and campaign ideas.

Sales Expertise: Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Client Orientation: Strong relationship-building and solution-selling skills.

Communication:  Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication.

Digital Literacy:  Basic understanding effectively and meets deadlines.

Organisation:  Manages workload effectively and meets deadlines.

Negotiation:  Confident in closing sales and managing client objections.

Teamwork:  Works effectively with internal departments to meet client expectations.
