Purpose: To achieve sales targets through sourcing and developing new business, maintaining and growing existing clients, and managing renewals and key accounts effectively.
ResponsibilitiesManaging achievement of sales targets
- Source and develop new business to meet sales targets.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients.
- Grow existing client accounts.
- Manage renewals and secure new business opportunities.
- Follow up daily on prospective new clients.
Managing key accounts
- Monitor year-on-year client spending to evaluate client activities monthly.
- Conduct client marketing analysis and provide feedback to strengthen client relationships.
- Carry out formal account reviews to agree on set rates for various formats.
- Negotiate rate increases for key accounts during renewal periods.
Managing representatives’ performance
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, policies, and systems by sales representatives.
Administration
- Report weekly and monthly performance to the sales manager.
- Provide bi-weekly sales forecasts and reports.
Knowledge and skills- Knowledge of the media industry (advantageous).
- Proficiency in computer applications.
