Purpose: To achieve sales targets through sourcing and developing new business, maintaining and growing existing clients, and managing renewals and key accounts effectively.

Responsibilities

Managing achievement of sales targets
  • Source and develop new business to meet sales targets.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients.
  • Grow existing client accounts.
  • Manage renewals and secure new business opportunities.
  • Follow up daily on prospective new clients.
Managing key accounts
  • Monitor year-on-year client spending to evaluate client activities monthly.
  • Conduct client marketing analysis and provide feedback to strengthen client relationships.
  • Carry out formal account reviews to agree on set rates for various formats.
  • Negotiate rate increases for key accounts during renewal periods.
Managing representatives’ performance
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures, policies, and systems by sales representatives.
Administration
  • Report weekly and monthly performance to the sales manager.
  • Provide bi-weekly sales forecasts and reports.
Knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of the media industry (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective planning and organising capabilities.
  • Strong presentation and professional/technical sales skills.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge.
