SAOTA and ARRCC are seeking a highly organised
asset producer to join our fast-paced Marketing team in Cape Town.
In this role, you'll coordinate the end-to-end production of photography and videography for our internationally acclaimed projects. From planning global shoots to overseeing post-production and managing our asset archive, you'll be central to how our brands are visually presented. While based in Cape Town, you'll work closely with some of the world's top architectural and interior photographers, helping to bring to life projects across the globe through expertly managed, high-impact visual content.
Please note that this position is only open to candidates currently residing in Cape Town, South Africa.Key responsibilities
Shoot management
- Coordinate and manage photography and videography shoots across a variety of global projects.
- Define and maintain policies regarding copyright, licensing, and media use.
- Handle all logistics: Travel, accommodation, scheduling, and styling coordination.
- Provide creative direction to ensure assets align with our aesthetic.
- Liaise with vendors and manage budgets, quotes, and cost-sharing.
- Oversee the editing and approvals process with internal teams.
2Asset archive management- Manage the Open Asset platform and ensure all final content is uploaded and correctly archived.
- Support the wider team with access to visuals and content for social, digital, and PR functions.
Departmental support- Assist with project uploads for the website and monthly newsletters.
- Support content selection for social media and award submissions.
- Contribute to event, campaign, and exhibition preparation.
Key requirements
- Experience in production (as a Production Assistant, Studio Assistant, or Junior Production Coordinator) within a creative agency, studio, or production house.
- Strong visual and creative eye with an appreciation for design.
- Confidence in managing logistics, multiple deadlines, and creative direction simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency/Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Meltwater, Mailchimp, and PowerBI is a bonus.
- Highly organised, self-disciplined, detail-oriented, and proactive.
