Our services include innovative concept and packaging design, product development, formulations, manufacturing, distribution and promotion

The Job
We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Quality Controller to join our company and work closely with our Technical Lead and Operations Lead. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional minimum of 2/3 years’ experience and relevant degree/diploma.

Salary is market related.

Ensure that production bulk materials conform to specifications and that manufacturing processes are correctly followed.

The role requires the person to be able to report to both Operations; on all matters pertaining to dispensing and manufacturing and to the technical department for all matters pertaining to formulation or process improvements. Both Operations and Technical work hand in hand to ensure efficient manufacturing standards are maintained

Key Responsibilities

  • Sign-Offs: Perform testing such as pH, viscosity and appearance checks to ensure bulk materials meet specifications. Conduct       finished goods checks
  • In process quality control checks during dispensing and manufacturing
  • Document Control: Maintain specifications and manufacturing instructions in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Manufacturing Support: Implement immediate corrective actions (reworks, quarantines) and provide feedback to Technical and     Planning teams
  • NCR/CAPA Management: Drive non-confirmative reports (NCR) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • SOP Support: Assist in SOP writing and validation
  • Lab Maintenance: Ensure lab is tidy and stocked in collaboration with the Technical Intern
  • Participation in continuous improvement to both formulations and manufacturing processes
  • Assisting management in ISO compliance through documentation creation, review, monitoring and measurement.

  • Some cosmetic, science or manufacturing background (understanding pH, viscosity and general lab processes
  • Willingness to grow into this role and learn about GMP and QMS
