Intermediate Internal Sales Executive
Job descriptionKEY PURPOSE OF ROLETo manage assigned radio and digital campaign bookings and related administration by ensuring accuracy, contractual compliance, and consistent client service, while operating within defined processes and escalating non-standard issues as required. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Campaign Booking and Administration: • Accurately book radio and digital campaigns within an assigned portfolio. • Monitor campaign flights and implement booking amendments to meet contractual requirements. • Ensure all campaign details are captured correctly and maintained throughout the campaign lifecycle. Client Account Support: • Prepare and issue contracts, confirming accurate billing and account details. • Respond to client queries and booking amendments within agreed service levels. • Escalate non-standard, complex, or approval-dependent issues to senior team members or management. Material Scheduling and Compliance: • Coordinate radio material scheduling, including following up with clients for copy and instructions. • Ensure campaigns comply with contractual agreements, advertising regulations, and internal policies. • Perform routine checks on bookings, contracts, and logs for accuracy and completion. Process and System Adherence: • Maintain accurate records and campaign information in all relevant systems. • Follow established internal sales processes and contribute to consistent operational delivery. Minimum required qualification: • Matric Qualifications considered advantageous: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Media Studies, Business, or related field Minimum years of experience: • 3 to 5 years’ experience in media administration and/or sales environment Additional role requirements: • Knowledge of radio log management, including material scheduling will be advantageous • Prior experience handling client accounts, contract dispatch, and billing accuracy will be advantageous • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in bookings. • Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely bookings. • Proficient in communication, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction. • Ability to handle multiple bookings, amendments, and queries in a fast-paced environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Client-focused with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach. • Adaptable and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • High level of accountability and ownership of tasks. • Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
