Job description
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with dealership staff, management, and key stakeholders to promote trust and mutual business growth.
- Promote and sell insurance products (including motor, short-term, and value-added services) through dealership channels, achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
- Client Visits and Field Work:
- Conduct regular on-site visits to assigned dealerships to provide training, sales support, product updates, and performance reviews.
- Conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions for dealer staff on insurance products, compliance processes, and quoting systems.
- Lead Generation and Conversion:
- Work closely with dealer teams to generate qualified insurance leads and convert them into policies through follow-ups and client engagement.
- Track and report on sales activities, dealer performance, and market trends. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of sales strategies and product offerings
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all sales activities are conducted in line with regulatory requirements, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, and company standards.
Education:Matric (required)Relevant diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or Insurance (preferred) Regulatory Exam (RE5) and FAIS credits (beneficial)
Experience:- 2–5 years' experience in insurance sales or a similar role Experience working with motor dealerships or in the automotive finance/insurance space is a strong advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Sales-driven with a hunter mindset
- Excellent presentation and training abilities
- Ability to manage multiple dealer accounts
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
- Tech-savvy – comfortable using CRM systems and quoting tools
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
