Job description
Our client a leading and fast expanding commercial financial services and asset finance entity, seeks to appoint an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager who will be responsible for
developing, executing, and managing the full marketing function for the Group ensuring brand growth and market penetration, merchandising and social media management.
This role combines
strategic marketing leadership, campaign execution, brand development, CRM ownership, and client experience management, with light sales support to optimise consultant performance and revenue growth.
The position plays a critical role in
strengthening brand presence, driving lead generation, improving client loyalty, and supporting cross-selling across the company’s funding solutions and other business units.
Key Performance Areas- Brand growth and market visibility for the Group’s various business entities.
- CRM optimisation and user adoption.
- Campaign performance and lead generation metrics.
- Budget management and ROI.
- Client satisfaction, complaint resolution, and feedback management.
- Event success and engagement.
- Consultant enablement through marketing support.
Functions- Strategic Marketing and brand positioning
- Develop and execute the annual and quarterly marketing strategy for the Group.
- Ensure brand alignment and consistency across all platforms, communication, and customer touchpoints.
- Strengthen brand awareness, visibility, and market credibility in the various business sectors.
Campaign origination and execution- Conceptualise, plan, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, direct marketing, and events.
- Manage full campaign lifecycle: briefing, creative direction, execution, reporting, and optimisation.
- Set campaign objectives, define success metrics, and track ROI.
- Align campaigns to support:
o Lead generation
o Product launches (as required)
o Consultant enablement
o Brand awareness and positioning
Sales Enablement and cross-sell support - Develop marketing support materials for consultants including:
o Sales decks
o Pitch templates
o Product overviews
o Email campaigns
- Support cross-selling initiatives across the Group’s product offering.
- Create educational and support material to help consultants identify and position cross-sell opportunities.
- Ensure marketing tools align with the commercial strategy and consultant needs.

Note: This is a support function, not a direct sales role.)CRM ownership and customer data strategy- Act as CRM System Owner for the Group.
- Manage and coordinate ongoing relationship with the CRM service provider.
- Oversee system optimisation, user adoption, reporting functionality, and workflow automation.
- Ensure CRM supports sales funnels, marketing automation, and reporting needs.
- Drive proper data usage, data integrity, and internal CRM training where required.
Client Liaison and experience management- Act as a central point for client feedback, complaints management, and service improvement analysis.
- Manage client reviews, satisfaction feedback, and post-deal communication where required.
- Work with internal teams to resolve client issues and improve customer experience journeys.
- Develop reporting and insights based on client feedback patterns and trends.
- Budget Management & ROI Tracking Manage the marketing budget for the Group.
- Allocate spend across campaigns, events, digital channels, branding, merchandise, and media.
- Track campaign costs and ROI.
- Ensure cost-effective use of marketing resources and suppliers.
Event Management- Conceptualise, plan, and manage internal and external events such as:
o Client functions
o Industry expos
o Handle event logistics, branding visibility, supplier coordination, and post-event reporting.
o Ensure events align with brand positioning and business development objectives.
Merchandise and client gifting- Manage branded merchandise and client gifting strategies.
- Oversee design, procurement, inventory, and distribution of branded items.
- Align gifting initiatives with key relationships, events, and client retention strategies.
Branding and creative management- Oversee all branding assets, guidelines, and creative output.
- Manage designs, content creation (and agencies where applicable).
- Ensure visual identity is consistent across:
o Digital platforms
o Email
o Print
o Signage
o Events
o Merchandise
o Support dealership branding initiatives for FAW Rustenburg.
Digital and online presence- Manage and grow online presence including:
o Social media platforms
o Website content
o Email marketing
o Lead generation campaigns
o Support digital marketing for both the Group and its business entities.
o Oversee content planning, scheduling, and campaign optimisation.
Sales Support:
- Client and deal administration
o Support the end-to-end administration of funding applications across asset finance, working capital, trade finance, and related solutions.
o Ensure accurate capturing, updating, and management of client and deal information on internal systems and CRM platforms.
o Maintain complete and compliant client records, documentation, and audit trails.
- Funding Process Facilitation
o Act as an internal coordinator between consultants, clients, funding partners, legal teams, and operational staff.
o Assist with the preparation and submission of funding applications, supporting documents, and deal packs.
Requirements
- Relevant Marketing or related qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years in a strategic marketing role.
- Strong strategic and commercial marketing thinking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and project management ability
- Budget control and reporting experience
- CRM system management and data-driven thinking
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
- Highly solutions-driven and adaptable
- Experience in financial services, asset finance, or automotive environment advantageous
