Advertising Sales Representative

We’re launching a new type of community newspaper (less news, more culture) in Sea Point and are looking for an experienced, self-motivated advertising sales representative to help secure advertisers for each issue.

The role

• Sell print advertising to local Sea Point businesses
• Work towards a per-issue advertising target of R30,000
• Build and manage relationships with local advertisers
• Operate independently and manage your own time

Requirements:

• Proven experience selling advertising (print, digital or community media)
• Strong knowledge of the Sea Point area and its business landscape
• Confidence approaching business owners and decision-makers
• Reliable, organised and results-driven

• Commission-only role (no basic salary or benefits)
