Job description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
PR Account Executive to support the delivery of high-impact communication campaigns for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about media, storytelling and building strong relationships. You’ll work closely with senior team members to execute PR strategies, manage day-to-day tasks and help drive media visibility for our clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Relations and Outreach- Research, build and maintain media lists across relevant sectors.
- Distribute media pitches, press releases and story angles.
- Proactively engage with journalists, influencers, bloggers and media partners.
- Support in securing media coverage, interviews and event attendance.
- Monitor media trends and identify new PR opportunities.
Content Creation- Write and edit media alerts, briefing documents, Q&As.
- Ensure all content is accurate, compelling and aligned with brand tone.
Campaign Support- Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of PR campaigns, press events, launches and activations.
- Help prepare client-facing documents such as weekly status reports, agendas, minutes and performance updates.
- Support in managing timelines, deliverables and campaign logistics.
Client Service- Participate in client meetings and contribute to weekly updates.
- Maintain organised project documentation and ensure teams are fully briefed on priorities.
- Provide day-to-day support to Account Managers and Directors.
Monitoring and Reporting- Track media coverage and compile monitoring reports.
- Analyse campaign results and provide insights to help optimise future efforts.
- Keep up to date with client industry news and competitor activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in PR, communications, media or a related field (agency experience a plus).
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of media databases and monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Ornico, Newsclip).
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
