Junior Food Stylist and Content Creator

Highbury Media T/A Habari Media is a media powerhouse, whose world-class titles connect brands to targeted audiences. We are currently looking for a Junior Food Stylist and Content Creator to join our team.

Food and Home print

• Generate articles/recipe ideas for the magazine based on the issue theme/season.

• Source recipes from third party sources for the magazine as needed.

• Conceptualise recipe and shoot for cover/cover story per issue.

• Photoshoots: Styling of food shoots as needed. Includes prop sourcing, booking of studio etc.

• Write food articles for each issue as required by the editor.

• Check all food layouts throughout the print process to ensure accuracy, ensuring all deadlines are kept.

• Admin: Ensure all food related budgets are adhered to.

• Liaise with editor with regard to cover shoot concepts/briefs, magazine content etc

Food and Home digital

• Produce content for the Food & Home website as required. This includes, but is not limited to: client videos and regular recipe videos for digital platforms

• Track and analyse engagement across Food & Home website and social media platforms

• Liaise with Food & Home editor and sales teams with regard to all required/proposed digital content.

General

• Recipe development

• Food preparation

• Content research and brainstorming

• Food shopping for shoots as required

• Upkeep of recons and budget

• Food styling for shoots
