Human Capital Business Partner–Talent
Job descriptionKey purpose roleThis role is responsible for shaping the workforce and employee experience through strategic talent acquisition, engagement, and organisational development initiatives. It leads workforce planning, change management, and employee relations, ensuring alignment with business goals and cultural transformation. The role supports leadership capability, drives DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) across the employee lifecycle, and acts as a strategic business partner to line managers. The incumbent also leverages the HRIS (Cornerstone) to support data-driven decision-making and enhance employee experience. Additionally, the role oversees the payroll function as it relates to talent, engagement, and organisational development activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with HC processes. Key performance areas Talent acquisition and onboarding: Source talent aligned to workforce plans. Use diverse platforms to attract candidates across levels. Maintain a robust talent pipeline. Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes. Liaise with external providers (e.g., agencies, assessment centres). Track time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and onboarding satisfaction scores. Ensure inclusive hiring practices that support DEIB goals. Employee engagement and relations: Drive engagement initiatives and internal communication. Manage ER cases and support conflict resolution. Promote a values-driven culture. Implement regular pulse surveys and feedback loops. Ensure accurate documentation of ER cases and resolutions. Organisational development: Support structural changes, capability planning, and leadership alignment. Implement OD interventions to support agility and performance. Utilize diagnostic tools (e.g. engagement surveys, capability assessments). Facilitate leadership development aligned to organisational strategy. Workforce planning: Collaborate with business leaders to forecast workforce needs and succession plans. Use HRIS and analytics to support workforce modelling and scenario planning. Change and culture: Lead change management initiatives. Embed organisational values and support leadership alignment. Apply structured change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter). Monitor cultural indicators and support initiatives that embed organisational values. Business partnering and HRIS utilisation: Act as a strategic advisor to line managers. Use HRIS (Cornerstone) to support recruitment, onboarding, engagement tracking, and OD analytics. Ensure data integrity and system optimization. Build trusted relationships with line managers to co-create people solutions aligned to business priorities. Minimum required qualification:
