Joe Segers has been appointed general manager of the Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! by Marriott Durban Umhlanga Ridge. Segers has vast industry experience, having held key positions at Protea Hotels by Marriott and Autograph Collection Hotels, including the first Protea Hotel Fire and Ice! by Marriott in Cape Town. His return to the firm demonstrates the group's commitment to expanding their position in the South African hospitality market.
Margaret Asian has been named general manager of the Marriott Protea Hotel Ikeja Select in Nigeria. With an MBA and a decade of experience working for Protea Hotels by Marriott.
