I hasten to mention that anybody who is anybody, knows they're not as special as Nonhle. If you don't who she is and why she is notorious - you need to spend more time on Twitter taking cogniscance of what South Africans - you know people with brown, yellow, pink and tattooed skins read on the screens of their smartphones. That said though - I think it could have ended with her mouth full.
It isnt a bad advert but it definitely is not my favourite Nandos ad. I always look forward to seeing the next advert that they bring out that will push the boudries and make contraversy to the point where they have to sometimes be pulled. That to me makes Nandos stand out from the rest when it comes to their TV adverts, that they are always willing to take the risk. This advert is bland and boring in a way and is a bit of a let down.
Nonhle got your attention (and the Nandos target market's attention too I am sure), the chicken looked amazing. Nandos sells amazing chicken, and at last we see it in this ad. Excellent! The focus of any food ad is to make the audience want to go out and buy the food. This ad does it better than most. Even if the previous Nandos ads were more of a laugh, this one portrays the product brilliantly. Makes you want to go out and buy some!
