Tablets to be withdrawn from Gauteng schools
We live in such a SICK society that it is frightening - in RSA the only place you'll find ethics & morals is in the dictionary & unfortunately that is due to the schocking example set by Zuma & the rest of government

Mmusi Maimane - Master of communication
Description of South Africa's voter population through pyramid - picture a 3 stage pyramid with the top part consist of elites that only represent 5% of voters population next of the pyramid is the middle class (opportunist) who swings either way depending on what is in for them and the last part of the pyramid is the most important population when it comes to votes, this is where the ANC gets most of their votes. Now these are the people that Mmusi Maimane does not appeal to and they probably do not know him from a bar of soap. Now my view is that DA will instead lose some white voters simply because there are still whites who do not believe in being led by a black person and on the other hand Mmusi will not be relevant to most the black voters.

Once again the criminal wins over the ineffective ANC - if only the government would take some responsibility the children would have a chance.....

Gov backtracks on B-BBEE Codes
so it seems the government wants to push benefit away from deserving causes and back to individuals who can be regarded as "active shareholders". Wonder who the beneficiaries of this change of policy will be?

Wishing Lou all the best! I learnt so much from her during my time at Ogilvy CPT and I have no doubt Havas will grow from strength to strength under her strategic leadership.

Insurers support introduction of mandatory third party insurance
This will surely go a long to alleviate the issue of ever rising comprehensive premiums. Thus premiums could be on a scale basis i.e for a third party propoerty damage limit of say 300,000 the premium will be 300 annually and / or for a million the premium will be R600 annually. This model has worked well in other countries like Zimbabwe.

How to: Develop a social marketing campaign
Thank you for this insightful, and I am sure very helpful article for small business owners. However, I think it is important to distinguish between 'social media marketing' and 'social marketing'. The concept is well-articulated by Kotler and Zaltman in the 1970's. In short, 'social marketing'is the application of commercial marketing concepts and techniques to target populations to achieve the goal of positive social change.

I couldn't agree more. Mmusi has definitely changed my view on politics, finally I feel we are going somewhere as a nation. I believe its time for change and Mmusi is the change. Yes he is young, but so what? He's passionate and very well-spoken. I am for Maimane!

Mmusi Maimane - Master of communication
Hi MarionVery well said. I think part of what will work for Maimane is that he came in as an underdog. Many established politicians are still trying to figure-out a way to approach him and to deal with him. He's definitely a natural in front of media, a breath of fresh air!
