Over 200 media agencies and owners are being rated and ranked in this year's awards industry research, the biggest to date. Indicative of industry growth, results in so far show a significant increase in digital media and specialist agency categories.
A feature is the increased participation by advertising clients who have direct contact with media owners.
"Although the overall response so far has been good, we are just off the 2012 mark of completed survey responses. Participation by Gauteng has been poor so far, with the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal being far more responsive and there are still a number of media owners and agencies that are under-represented," states official research partner FGI's Brad Aigner.
