The festival begins with Die Wonderwerker on 7 September, starring Cobus Rossouw, Marius Weyers and Sandra Kotze. Directed by Katinka Heyns, the film captures the story of Eugene Marais and his life as a poet and naturalist, where controversy follows him wherever he goes.

Agter Die Ligte is the next, coming to the big screen on 28 September. It showcases Afrikaans singer and performer Joe Niemand's concert, which took place at the Coco-Cola Dome in March 2012.

On 5 October, Wolwedans in die Skemer, will be screened. Directed by Jozua Malherbe and starring Rolanda Marais, Desire Gardner and David Louw, the film follows the story of Sonja Daneel, a young woman who crashes her car near Hotel Njala in Hazyview and loses her memory.

Wrapping up the festival on 12 October is Stilte, the story of a young singer whose life is destroyed when she and her family are attacked in their home. As the only one who survives, she relocates to her aunt and uncle's farm in Oudtshoorn. However, the road to recovery is not easy - Antoinette refuses to speak - let alone sing. Directed by Darrel James Roodt, the film shows how she comes to terms with loss and learns to find her voice again with the help of an inspiring young pastor.
