The Family pack includes a range of general entertainment, documentary and children's channels such as Sony Entertainment, Discovery TLC, Nat Geo Wild, KykNET Musiek and Cartoon Network.

New channels

The two new channels are Fox on channel 125 and kykNET & Kie on channel 145.

Fox will be available to DStv Premium customers in both HD and SD as simulcast on channel 125 and will be a welcome addition to the general entertainment section of DStv Premium.

kykNET & Kie is an expansion of kykNet's existing offering on DStv and will for the first time, make Afrikaans content available to DStv customers in the lower-tier packs namely DStv Family and DStv Compact. kykNET is currently only available to DStv Premium customers.

kykNET & Kie will have a children's slot in the morning and in the afternoons, with the content that is currently available on KooWee being included in these slots. That means that KooWee (channel 307) will no longer exist as a separate channel on DStv from 9 April onwards.
