The album took Msenganai just over a year to complete, during which time she experienced many personal journeys: her marriage to Thomas Msengana, the birth of her second child and losing loved ones.
The emotions carried in all of these experiences provided just the right inspiration for her and these are evident in the lyrics and musical score in all of the nine songs of the album.
"With Love" is a collaborative venture with some of the country's talented artists, who feature as co-producers, composers and vocalists. In the song Woman, she enlists the vocal stylings of Tamara Dey and the lyrical musings of poet Lebo Mashile; this being the song dedicated to all womankind.
Other artists and producers who feature in the album include the late Mama Miriam Makeba, producer Sipho Sithole, Kabomo Vilakazi, Gift Mahlangu, Fikile Luswazi, Malambule and Tshepo Sekele.
